Job Overview

The Program Support Specialist II – CIV provides expertise in the design, implementation, and monitoring of interventions for Frontline Church Partners (FCPs). This role supports a wide range of activities, including WaSH, infrastructure, disaster response, income generation, and parental education. The specialist collaborates with Program Trainers, Partnership teams, and other specialists to ensure programs are strategically planned, effectively delivered, and aligned with national office strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in developing national intervention strategies.
  • Collaboratively design and plan interventions aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Support implementation, monitoring, and reporting of interventions.
  • Stay updated on national policies, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain networks for partnerships, alliances, and local resource mobilization.
  • Use programmatic data to enhance intervention effectiveness.
  • Review and analyze monitoring data to recommend interventions that achieve desired outcomes.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to write and manage interventions and grants.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Programmatic thinking with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience supporting FCPs in selecting and designing interventions.
  • Strong coordination and facilitation skills across multiple groups.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively internally and externally.
  • Demonstrates servant leadership and upholds Compassion’s Partnership Principles.
  • Networking and professional representation skills.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
