The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is the official development aid agency of the Government of the Republic of Korea under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. KOICA is responsible for implementing Korea’s bilateral grant aid and technical cooperation programs. The KOICA Thailand Office facilitates various development initiatives, including capacity building programs, technical support, invitation programs for Thai officials to attend training courses in Korea, and the dispatch of Korea Overseas Volunteers to partner organizations in Thailand.

Job Overview

Position Title: Program Officer

Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, 35 hours/week)

Nationality Requirement: Thai

Location: KOICA Thailand Office, AIA Capital Center, Bangkok 10400

Contract Duration: Until 31 March 2026 (with possibility of annual extension)

Expected Start Date: 13 August 2025

Salary Range: USD 900–1,100 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • WFK (World Friends Korea) Dispatched Personnel Management

Support service and activity management for WFK volunteers and advisors.

Assist with the planning and execution of demand surveys for WFK volunteer, advisor, and KMCO programs.

Organize key events such as volunteer local adaptation training, partner organization workshops, volunteer evaluation meetings, and Volunteer Onsite Projects (VOP).

  • Capacity Building Program

Support the management and engagement of the KOICA Alumni Association in Thailand.

Assist in organizing alumni events and related activities.

  • Administration

Provide logistical and administrative support for office operations and events.

Qualification

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Development, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of the Korean language is considered an asset.
