Job Overview

Position Title: Assistant Manager – Recruitment and Training

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Duration: 12-month contract with the possibility of extension

Reports to: Head of People and Culture, WWF Thailand

Supervises: None

This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee engagement initiatives for WWF Thailand. The Assistant Manager will ensure HR processes are aligned with both internal policies and local labor laws while supporting organizational development through performance management, HRIS administration, and learning programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes in compliance with WWF policies and Thai labor laws.
  • Serve as the HRIS administrator for systems such as Canopy, Leave Online, E-AIM, HR Oracle, and the finger scan system.
  • Coordinate onboarding and off-boarding processes, including orientation, logistics, and policy briefings.
  • Oversee contract renewals and ensure accurate documentation and timely approvals.
  • Conduct and report on exit interviews and compile data for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain HR files, recruitment documents, and organizational charts in the internal HR shared drive.
  • Coordinate with internal/external auditors and ensure the availability of staff contracts and related HR documentation.
  • Act as the focal point for Mercer WIN job evaluation processes.
  • Manage and update job descriptions in coordination with hiring managers and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Support employee performance appraisals and career development initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary cases in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collect and store employee timesheets for audit readiness.
  • Lead employee engagement and team development activities.
  • Organize and coordinate training programs to support staff development.
  • Assist in salary and compensation processes and provide required data for payroll planning.
  • Carry out other related tasks as assigned by the Head of People and Culture.

Qualification

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or a relevant field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in international organizations
  • Proven experience in HR systems, policy compliance, and working in a multicultural environment
  • Familiarity with Thailand's labor laws and HR best practices

Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of environmental and conservation issues in Thailand is an advantage
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and build team capacity
  • Fluent in both Thai and English
