The Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System for Africa and Asia (RIMES) is an international, intergovernmental organization that supports its Member States in enhancing early warning systems for multiple hazards. Headquartered in Thailand, RIMES was established in response to the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and is based at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) campus in Pathumthani.
RIMES is hiring a Climatologist to analyze climate data, develop climate models and forecasts, and provide expert insights on climate variability and risks. The position supports the development of evidence-based climate services to improve resilience and decision-making in climate-sensitive sectors.
