Job Overview

IECD Thailand is seeking a Project Officer to support the launch and implementation of the Seeds of Hope project in Thailand. This role involves coordinating meetings, conducting field visits, identifying local partners, and supporting project setup to improve youth employability in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Phase 1: August – September 2025

  • Prepare and translate presentation documents into Thai.
  • Organize 2–3 weeks of meetings and interviews with local industry partners across Thailand.
  • Conduct interviews with automotive companies to assess current skill demands.
  • Identify potential implementation partners (e.g., schools and universities) in Mae Sot, Bangkok, and other provinces.
  • Submit comprehensive visit reports with findings, observations, and photos.

Phase 2: October 2025 – February 2026

  • Support the drafting of partnership agreements with selected local partners.
  • Assist with the development of a project timeline and logistical setup under the project manager’s supervision.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., development studies, business management, communications).
  • At least 2 years of experience in project coordination or development, ideally in the NGO sector.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, especially with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English.
