Job Overview

Plan International Inc. (Asia Regional Office and Thailand Programme Office) is seeking an independent, qualified External Auditor to audit its financial statements for fiscal years 2025–2027. The role involves auditing complex regional operations, including intercompany transactions, across multiple countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct annual audits of Financial Statements for FY25 (2024–2025), FY26 (2025–2026), and FY27 (2026–2027).
  • Audit two sets of accounts: Asia Regional Office and Thailand Programme Office.
  • Assess accounting principles, internal controls, and compliance with Thailand Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Prepare and certify Balance Sheets, and Statements of Income and Expenditures.
  • Provide signed audit reports in both Thai and English (hard and soft copies).
  • Coordinate with Plan International for planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
  • Conduct closing meetings with management to present findings and recommendations.

Qualification

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed by the Federation of Accounting Professions (FAP), Thailand.
  • Demonstrated experience auditing organizations of similar size and complexity.
  • Strong understanding of Thailand GAAP, tax laws, labor, and social security regulations.
  • Experience with nonprofit organizations preferred.
  • Fully independent from Plan International (no financial or advisory ties).
  • Fluent in both English and Thai.
  • Audit team must include a partner and manager with relevant nonprofit experience.

    • Final Report Submission: By 30 November 2025
  • Future audit timelines will be agreed annually.
