Job Overview

HI is seeking a qualified consultant or consultancy firm to develop a Risk Monitoring Mechanism for conflict and explosive ordnance (EO) risks. The consultancy will support HI's efforts to gather and analyze data from affected communities, promote local ownership, and improve project strategies in Thailand and Southeast Myanmar.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a community-based risk monitoring mechanism.
  • Collect and analyze data on EO threats and conflict dynamics.
  • Engage Karen and Karenni community focal points in monitoring.
  • Produce 5 risk monitoring reports and 1 impact assessment survey.
  • Establish a project database for data tracking and use.
  • Share findings with relevant clusters and working groups.
  • Deliver training (with a manual) to HI’s project partners (CIDKP and KNED).

Qualification

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in HMA, EORE, or risk monitoring.
  • Experience working with humanitarian organizations and local partners.
  • Prior experience with persons with disabilities or vulnerable populations is an advantage.
  • Experience with HI is a plus.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Firms must provide valid business registration, team CVs, and at least 2 references.
