Job Overview

The Consultant will assess the current collaboration between the Thai government and CSOs in providing protection services to victims of trafficking. The role involves identifying gaps, challenges, and opportunities to establish an effective and sustainable cooperation framework, aligning with international protection standards. The Consultant will deliver an inception report, draft assessment, and a final report with recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit an inception report outlining methodology, tools, and timeline.
  • Conduct assessment and produce a draft report highlighting gaps, barriers, and recommendations.
  • Present findings to DATIP and relevant agencies.
  • Revise and finalize the report incorporating stakeholder feedback.
  • Ensure deliverables meet IOM brand and quality standards.

Qualification

  • Master’s degree or higher (migration, social sciences, law, or related field).
  • At least 10 years’ experience in counter-trafficking and migration in Southeast Asia.
  • Strong knowledge of rights-based and gender-sensitive approaches.
  • Experience engaging with government and civil society stakeholders.
  • Prior experience with UN or intergovernmental organizations preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Thai and English (oral and written).
