Established in 1999, UNDRR works with governments, civil society, and international partners to build resilience and enhance disaster preparedness.
The Project Officer – Disaster Risk Communication will support a regional project on disaster risk communication and early warning systems in Southeast Asia. The role focuses on enhancing early warning coverage and effectiveness in Thailand, Cambodia, and Lao PDR, ensuring inclusive communication for women, girls, and persons with disabilities. The officer will lead community-level engagement, support research, capacity building, and risk communication strategies, and collaborate with partners, authorities, and media to improve disaster risk awareness and preparedness.
