Job Overview

The Project Officer will coordinate the University Plant-rich Pledge program in Thailand, supporting universities in adopting plant-based and plant-rich dining. The role involves engaging with students, faculty, and dining teams to run campaigns, training, and events while monitoring progress and impact. This position is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, climate action, and youth engagement, offering opportunities for professional growth within an international network.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between ProVeg Asia and Thai universities.
  • Support onboarding and coordination with university groups, dining services, and student clubs.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor student ambassadors and faculty champions.
  • Organize campus campaigns, events, and workshops.
  • Coordinate culinary training for chefs and caterers.
  • Adapt and manage communication materials in Thai.
  • Collect data, track program impact, and prepare monthly progress reports.
  • Support research grants and recognition activities.
  • Manage program calendars, logistics, and reporting.

Qualification

Must-have:

  • Fluency in Thai and English (spoken and written).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination, education, communications, or community engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Passion for sustainable food systems, climate action, or public health.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with universities, student groups, or youth programs.
  • Event management experience.
  • Familiarity with plant-based food and culinary training.
  • Alumni from Chulalongkorn, Kasetsart, or Mahidol University.
