Assistant Manager – Asia Pacific

Job Overview

The Assistant Manager – Asia Pacific will be based in the Bangkok office, supporting project administration, financial and operational performance, and business development activities. The role offers opportunities to work closely with senior project managers, contribute to proposals, and gain hands-on experience in international development consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Program Managers with project administration, budgeting, expenditure tracking, and logistics coordination (e.g., travel and visas).
  • Prepare contracts, conduct due diligence, and manage consultant records.
  • Support recruitment of project staff, including preparing Terms of Reference and contracts.
  • Collaborate with global teams to enhance Asia Pacific representation in internal and external communications.
  • Research business development opportunities and assist in proposal preparation, formatting, and cost estimation.

Qualification

  • 3–5 years’ experience in international development, project management, or consulting.
  • Experience with INGOs, embassies, diplomatic agencies, or multinational organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong English proficiency and experience in English-speaking work environments.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with databases and project management software is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and proactive working skills.
