Job Overview

The Partnerships Coordinator – Myanmar will support the management and development of education programmes in Myanmar and along the Thai-Myanmar border. This role involves working closely with partner organizations, overseeing project activities, and ensuring effective programme implementation and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and plan project activities with partners
  • Monitor and evaluate partner projects, including risk management and quality control
  • Oversee partnership budgets, validate financial reports, and monitor spending
  • Prepare programme management tools and agreements
  • Maintain strong relationships with partner organizations
  • Support capacity building for partner NGOs
  • Conduct surveys and assess potential new partnerships
  • Provide regular updates on current and potential projects
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development
  • Represent the organization to external stakeholders
  • Conduct independent field visits in Myanmar (if possible)

Qualification

Hard Skills:

  • Experience in partnership/project management
  • Knowledge of programme cycle management and budgeting
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace
  • Understanding of the political and social context in Myanmar and Thai-Myanmar border

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and critical thinking
  • Organizational and time management abilities
  • Cultural awareness
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
